We know from research and experience that:

• Advocacy and accessible support are not always available when needed

• Parenting assessments may not fully account for disability or the impact of trauma

• Families can remain under scrutiny without the right help in place

• Outcomes for disabled parents are often poorer

At The Anchor Collective, we’re working to address this. We’re a disabled-led organisation providing specialist, rights-based advocacy for parents navigating care proceedings, and we’re building toward a fully funded, free-at-point-of-use model.
